Subject: Invitation – Inter-School Poster Making Competition on Eye Donation Awareness – 27 August 2025
Dear Principal,
Lions Club Chandigarh Central, in association with the Eye Bank Society, PGIMER, Chandigarh, is pleased to invite your esteemed school to participate in the 14th Annual Inter-School Poster Making Competition on Eye Donation Awareness. This initiative is a part of the National Eye Donation Awareness Fortnight being observed from 25th August to 8th September.
Through this competition, we aim to engage young students in spreading the message of “Gift of Sight” while showcasing their creativity for a social cause.

Date: Wednesday, 27 August 2025
Venue: Manav Mangal Smart School, Sector 64, Mohali
Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Reporting Time: 9:30 AM sharp)

3. The Gift of Sight – Donate Eyes, Give Sight
Categories:
Category A: Classes VII & VIII
Category B: Classes IX & X
Guidelines:
Sheet Size: Half Chart Paper (provided by organisers)
Students to bring their own drawing board and painting materials
Maximum 3 students per category from each school
Top 5 posters in each category will be selected for awards
Recognition & Awards:
Winners will be felicitated at the Advanced Eye Centre Auditorium, PGIMER (date to be notified)
Participation Certificate for all participants
Selected posters will be exhibited at Advanced Eye Centre, PGIMER to inspire the public
